Things I Utilize to Save Money
Spending money is easy if you have the money to spend in the first place. We sometimes look at our bank account and wonder why there is not much in there.
Saving money can be hard but it can be fun at the same time. Here are some ways that I save money by not paying full price for the things I buy.
Honey
Honey is a smart shopping assistant that is available as a Chrome plugin. It automatically finds and applies coupon codes when you shop online. It is simple and free to use.
camelcamelcamel
camelcamelcamel is a good option if you shop on Amazon often and don’t want to install Honey on Chrome or don’t use Chrome. You can easily track when prices go down for the items that you want to buy by entering Amazon’s product URL on camelcamelcamel’s website and opt-in for email notification. The only annoyance is that you need to opt out from the notification if you have purchased the item already or are no longer interested in tracking the price for the selected product. Other than that, just like Honey, it is simple and free to use.
Ebates
Ebates is a cash back and shopping rewards company. They simply share their referral commission with you when you shop through their website and also give you a $10 bonus when you join.
Ibotta
Similar to Ebates, Ibotta provides cash back on in-store and mobile purchases with receipts and /or purchase verification. I personally use this app for groceries and appreciate how it limits me to purchase items that are on “sale” from the items listed on their app. Use this referral code and get up to $20 Welcome bonus.
