Simple Gampas al ajillo recipe
We are not sure how a legit gampas al ajillo is supposed to taste like, but the one we had in Korea at Baesan Cafe was delicious. We tried to recreate it and here is our take on what we had.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup onions
- 1/4 cup bell pepper
- 1/4 zucchini
- 1 tbsp crushed chili flakes
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 20 cloves of garlic
- 14 shrimp (defrosted or fresh)
- Baguet
Directions
- Cut up all the veggies in a small size and slice garlic.
- Using a small-sized pan, heat olive oil in the pan then toss in the sliced garlic.
- Once the garlic is about to become transparent, toss in the veggies, crushed chili flakes, and salt.
- Toss in your shrimp and cook 1 min on each side.
- Toast baguet.
- Serve!
