Places to Eat in San Diego
Are you visiting San Diego and wondering which places are worth trying out? Here are some of the places that I’ve enjoyed going to over the 8 years that I’ve lived in San Diego and would recommend.
Yakitori Taisho
Taisho is a small Japanese restaurant that is known for yakitori. If you plan on dinning at this place, I advise going 20-30 minutes before they open as the restaurant only seats about 15 people. People who dine here spend 1-1.5 hours on average. So, if you miss the first wave, you might have to wait over an hour.
The Cottage
Do you love brunch? If so, the Cottage is the must! The restaurant is located near La Jolla Shores and is very picturesque, depending on the time and weather. If the line is long, you can get your name down on their wait list and walk around downtown La Jolla. I highly recommend their french toast and eggs benedict!
The Fire Spot
The Fire Spot is an all-you-can-eat Chinese BBQ place. This is a great place to go with a group of friends. I don’t recall what pieces of meats we had ordered, but remember their beef noodle soup being amazing.
